I got Fable for free and I thought it was pretty crap.
I have no interest in this.

no regrets at all, bought fable, loved it, will buy this, will likely love it, it makes sense with the dragon though, the bestiary mentioned all the monsters you fought except for the dragon, i knew it had to have been planned because every other monster in the bestiary fought you. if they are feelign nice, they could even release the female playable character they didnt have time to include in the original game..i prefer my mages to have the xx chromosomes.

Considering the Xbox version's storyline is more shallow than most 8-bit RPGs, I'm not expecting much.and a deeper storyline.

Same here, though, I wouldn't call the game "crap." A bit more than mediocre, if anything.
Yeah, I got it for free, demolished it in 2 or 3 nights, never played it again...
And by Fall 2005, they mean like at least Summer 2006.

Actually, the game is probably done. Big Blue Box was given the big pink slip months ago, apparently. Also, someone who has dug around in the code of Fable xbox says all these added features were ones cut from the xbox version at the last moment, since some of the stuff is actually in there, but was either disabled or essential files replaced with gibberish. The latter might not be true, but it wouldn't surprise me.
