There wasn't an official thread for Hitch that I could find, so I figured I'd start a thread about it. I finally saw this one the past weekend and while I enjoyed it enough to probably rent or buy the DVD when it's released, there's one thing that's really been itching me. Unfortunately, it's a spoiler, so hopefully some of you folks have seen it. For the rest of you, I guess just post your thoughts.

Hitch meets with Vance and declines to help him. Vance sleeps with Casey and runs (hit & quit). Casey tells Sara she slept with the guy, then curses the Date Doctor. This is the basis for all the crap that happens afterward, but I am unable to understand what makes the girl specifically curse Hitch, since he didn't help Vance out. Did Vance bang her and then go, "THANK YOU DATE DOCTOR!" or something, even though he would have zero reason to do so? Or did I just miss a scene where something similar to that happened?

So yeah.

I was under the impression that Sara thought that Hitch's "advice" consisted of telling Vance to hit it and quit it. That made him seem like a dog of a guy to her, and she thought he might be trying to take the same route with her. I thought she acted a little too bitchy to him towards the end, if I was Hitch I would have never talked to her again.

I also really liked this movie, although the ending was very cliche.
