Star Wars Goes 3D

According to a couple of Hollywood rumor sites, including Coming Soon.net, Lucas is planning to re-release the Star Wars Saga in 3D between 2007 and 2012. Though I question the validity of the claim, I think the results could be very, very cool if this is true.
