New Rally-X does suffer from that quite a bit. The walls of the maze is one place where it really is flagrant. Your car does zip along rather fast in this one, and that could be partly to blame.

If there were a Gradius on PSP, the speed zone could possibly suffer from that.

    That would be a sacrilege.

Treasure should go with either Taito, Arika, or D3 for its future properties on console systems.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  2. Except they'd all stay in Japan then.

A little coding can go a long way.
WTF.. good thing you don't work for Treasure.
MK2 on XBLA plz - let the unfolding of gameplay begin!!

    What's wrong with ESP?

  5. This is AWESOME news!

BTW, for those who were angry that this game won't be coming out on a console, I can kinda understand that, except for one thing:

If Gunstar Super Heroes was made for Gamecube then ok :-D No problem (Nintendo is very friendly for 2D playing games on its console (Ikaruga, Donkey Kong Jungle Beat, Zelda: Four Swords Adventures, etc)

BUT most likely it would have been made for ps2. And then its likely the game would either be 3D (in which case the GBA version would definitely be better) OR that it WOULD be 2D and THEN, it would come out in Japan for ps2, then be REJECTED by Sony Computer Entertainment of America because its a 2D game together with NOT being a compilation (anyone remember USA Metal Slug 3 on ps2? -_-)

No thanks a 2D version on Gamecube would have been nice, but barring that, roll on GBA version!

Oh and btw, anybody know if this is coming to the USA? Will Sega Publish it in the US also?

I wasn't even sure if they were still around, I think the last ESP game I picked up was Ikaruga. Speaking of Ikaruga, add Atari to the list

  7. Yuck

I'm really going to miss the thrill of blasting 6+ regular thugs as well as those annoying flying enemies on screen at the same time. The cramped nature of the handheld has seriously crippled my interest in this sequel.

  8. now this is different:
Treasure will pay homage to many of Sega's classic brands, with levels, graphics, and soundtracks based on After Burner, Thunder Blade, and Galaxy Force, and other Sega titles.
..who really cares about Sega's classic brands? The Sega Ages stuff is fine, but lets move on already.

..and furthermore, what, like half the levels will be 1st person scalling into the screen?
Sounds like we'll be seeing some rehashing of the Advance Guardian Heroes engine.

  9. I think the homages could be really awesome, personally.
