Did'nt Treasure do the same kind of thing with Astro-Boy? Putting in a bunch of Tezuka stuff that has nothing to do with Astro-Boy, but as an homage? Sounds like the same deal here.

;P Tezuka did the same thing himself. They'd frequently show up in series that weren't there own. Some even did so regularly, like my favorite villain, Acetylene Lamp.
That was the part of the game that made me happy and lovey.

I was looking at the clip and said, "Hey, that looks like the first level." Sure enough, the preview stated that the first level was redone in the game.

I would have been sad about no 2-player co-op, but then I realized that nobody plays 2-player co-op GBA games.

Looks good so far. I only hope it plays as well as the first, or else all that effort would have been in vain.

Even though Cowdisease is right about the 2P co-op thing (at least in my case), it'd still be a nice option to have.
