Frogacuda, how does this compare to Astro Boy: Omega Factor? Regardless of license, at the end of the day, which one would you suggest, if I could only get one?
Ah...got ya....either way I've been waiting since '93 for a new(er) GH...so I'm picking it up no matter what.

Gunstar is the better game, but it's also signifigantly shorter, and Astroboy has a ton of crap to unlock, and other replay incentives, so if you happen to be the kind of person that needs an artificial reason to keep playing, Astroboy is a fuller package. Suffice it to say that you're going to be happy with either, but if it was me, I'd get Gunstar.Originally Posted by Kev
But really, if you can only get one, save up and get the other eventually. They're among the best reasons to own a GBA.

Thanks for the excellent impressions, Frog. Sounds like Treasure has squeezed amazing juice form another "underpowered" system. Can't wait to see the effects with my own eyes.
I just wanted to quote this because I now find it very humorous.Originally Posted by Yoshi

I heard differently... turns out that he loves Treasure, but tends to be divided on what he likes and dislikes when it comes to their projects.Originally Posted by sleeveboy
My full review. Suffice it to say, at the end of the day I loved it.
Frogacuda- Loves a Treasure game! The pope is not surprised. News at 7.Originally Posted by Frogacuda
Both your's and Bahn's review have me really interested. I don't mind it's short. Gunstar Heroes is one of those games that begs for replaying, not huge levels. But you know... It really has me itching for another Mischief Makers, GBA pleeeeeeeeeeease. Something with snappy control on a tiny screen= me XD grabble. Har har har, me make-believing that GBA will never die and everyone will produce these dream games.
Donk
Don't even hope for a new Mischief Makers. Treasure has burnt the Enix bridge witht he legal debacle surrounding Rakugaki Showtime. Enix still holds the rights to the characters. It's just not going to happen.
And really, Wario World was enough for me. I've honestly never been the type who really needed sequels from Treasure. To me, Alien soldier and Silhouette mirage were sequel enough to Gunstar. I like the original properties from Treasure, but with the industry how it is today, no one seems to be willing to foot the bill for the development of a new franchise and Treasure doesn't have the money to develop an original property on their own. Sucks.
