And really, Wario World was enough for me. I've honestly never been the type who really needed sequels from Treasure. To me, Alien soldier and Silhouette mirage were sequel enough to Gunstar. I like the original properties from Treasure, but with the industry how it is today, no one seems to be willing to foot the bill for the development of a new franchise and Treasure doesn't have the money to develop an original property on their own. Sucks.
/_\ *sigh...* Just now... You broke my heart.

I don't want a sequel then. Just something with nice, quick-like jumping all over the place and "Shake-shake". Dear Nintendo... I bought every version of Gameboy and a Virtual Boy. You owe me 1 Shantae Advance and 1 original Treasure game... on GBA. Wario World is not enough. (that's the next James Bond movie, CHECK IT!)
    Donk

  2. I just looked at the Gamefaqs boards and it's pretty depressing. It seems like people are simultaneously furious that they changed anything and that they didn't change enough. I don't know how that works, but whatever.

I noticed this guy wasn't in the final game:

that coupled with the complete and utter lack of any unlockable content makes me wonder if they pushed this game out a month early or something. Come to think of it, I got that feeling from Astroboy too. Between the Japanese and US releases they added new enemies and did a ton of tweaking and stuff, which I would take as an indicator that the japanese release was rushed.

That was my first thought, but I'm pretty sure I played all the spaces in the dice maze.

It's most definitely the final box art design.

Yeah, even though it's a GBA cart, they could've thrown in a bunch of unlockables.

  6. Original GSH with a Sega Nomad was a little hard to see some things at times. How is it on the GBA screen?

The characters are much bigger to suit the handheld screen.

    Doesn't this go without saying?

  10. Yeah I don't like it.

-Not as good as the original
-Remixed soundtrack is kind of eh..
-More of a remake than an original title
-Feels rushed as hell at times
    -Very short
-Bosses suck for the most part
    -I miss throwing
    -I miss weapon combinations
-Really really lousy and cheap helicopter stage.
-Not much of a difference between Red & Blue
    -Awful Final boss
-Too easy(Already finished it on all three difficulties with almost all of the
deaths in the stupid helicopter stage)
-The special weapon system is imo kind of broken. The regular fire special nullifies projectiles and does insane damage and between them you'll cruise through boss fights with no trouble.

    +Amazing special effects
+A few gems in terms of bosses
+Still far and away the best GBA/Treasure game.

+/- Pink/Yellow are kind of hot.
