No, that is the probably the last battery. What would be the point to release a new battery that gives 30 mins or so extra and than release a newer one later? It defeats the purpose as well as costs.

If you want extra hours on your PSP, go get a battery pack.

I have one for sale, and probably some others later on.. http://www.cheapassgamer.com/forums/...0&page=1&pp=20

You can read my reviews on some of the battery packs here.. http://www.mobiledeviant.com/forum/f...splay.php?f=43

I shall have a review up for the Power Bank 3 shortly and will probably have one for sale as well.

  3. it's official, bandit is Ken Kutaragi's alterego!

  4. Question, I'm fixing to purchase a PSP and I generally DON'T ever buy waranties for a system. I've heard of the earlier PSP's having some sort of pixel problem. Does anyone know if Sony has resolved this or any other problems they may have had at launch? Hey Bandit do you have any 1 to 2 gig memory sticks for sale?

Regarding the pixel problems, I havent heard much complaints. But there will be the occassional few that will pop up. Not as much as the launch as by now, problems have been fixed dramatically.

As for the memory sticks, I'll probably have 1GB(s) for sale depending if I can get a 4GB Microdrive for free when I get the NeoFlash mini-converter for review. If I do, I'll have it up for sale. It should be within a couple weeks when they send out the next batch. I was going to buy the 2GB as I had an order with Dell for $120 at the time but they kept delaying my order month after month and I just had about it. But since I'm getting the NeoFlash 2in1, I wont need to purchase the 2GB. In the mean time, amazon.com has a sale on the 2GBs..

You pay $110.19 up front and than you send in for the $25 rebate

I know how some hate rebates cuz it takes too long and what not or they never get the money. So as long you have the extra cash to put up front, and mail it in within the qualifying period, you shouldnt have a problem. Just make sure you make photocopies of it incase they give you problems. This will be your proof.

  7. I got a new PSP 1.52 and I want to play my emus on it but they dont work. How do I go about getting them to work again? Downgrade the firmware? Can someone hold my hand and show me exactly what needs to be done please. I looked on pspupdates but its organized really shitty.

go to http://www.mobiledeviant.com. download the downgrader. You'll have to upgrade to 2.0 first. You can get that from the website as well (it may be included in the download. I dont remember if I included one).

You can find instructions on how to downgrade by searching on google. There are sites that made specific tutorials for it with pictures, so you cant go wrong.

PSPUpdates is fine for files but not for information. That site is so unorganized, their search feature doesnt even do its job.

  9. I got a new PSP battery today, it's not Sony or anything, it just said P.S.P)made in china). the Battery is 2600mAh. im changing it now, and i'll let you guys know what the full battery life on standby readys, then i'll do the same to the original PSP battey and compare.

  10. Yoyofr has posted some updated information about the new version his SNES emulator, Snes9xTYL.

According to his update, the sound emulation processing will be put into the media engine in the new version. The feature is nearly ready now.

And there is another exciting new feature for the new version – wireless multiplayer!! Yoyofr said on his website, that the game is able to run at 60fps when playing a vs. battle on Street Fighter (Cheers!). He has also released a teaser video of the function in action.

    Download video here...

For those who dont bitch about the PSP Web browser, you can use AIM on your PSP

AIM on PSP is a simple, web-based client for AOL Instant Messenger, specifically designed to for accessing through your PSP. Just point your PSP browser to www.aimonpsp.com and enter your login and password. The webpage will refresh automatically every 5 seconds, and you can chat with anyone on your existing buddy list.

AIM on PSP has it’s limitations—you can’t view users’ profiles at all, their server is limited to a maximum of 200 users at any one time, and you need to remember to manually log out. It runs entirely in JavaScript, and is based on the open-source PHPTocLIB—a PHP library which connects to the AOL messaging servers.
