Hey, I haven't been keeping track - did Sony ever say if they were going to bring the white PSP over to North America?
"Fanjita's 2.0 eboot loader," allows for some homebrew and emulators (SNES, NeoCD and Sega Master System) to be run on 2.0, first I heard of this:

Nope, just read last week somewhere that it's still a Japan exclusive. That also reminds me, whatever happened to Gran Turismo portable?Originally Posted by StriderKyo

Sony supposedly released the extra-strength battery already--not just in Japan, but in the US, too. I myself haven't seen it yet.Originally Posted by MechDeus

What'd be wrong with Gran Turismo portable, Chao?
In other musings, here's hoping they can make a downgrader for 2.5 and above.
edit: Would fast loader let me boot my Tokobot UMD on 1.5 (after I downgrade which i have done before)? Or am i thinking of another program?

Alright damnit, I'm getting pissed. I wanna play some new games but I don't wanna lose my emus. What is the best, easiest, simplist, quickest way to do both? Is it fast loader that tricks your psp into thinking it upgraded the firmware? How well does it work? If I can't do both easily, I'm getting rid of this piece of shit.
PSN = knarlockk
Steam= kevinb150
UMD Emulator (previously known as Fast Loader) does not trick. UMD Emulator bypasses the firmware updates. In other words, it wont ask you to update inorder to play. SXT Version Changer is the one that tricks the PSP into thinking its the latest firmware. Unfortunately, with new games coming out such as GTA, SOCOM, etc. (it varies), it requires 2.0 files inorder to play. WIthout a 2.0 or higher, you're out of luck if you want to use your 1.5 firmware.Originally Posted by kbuchanan
But as time passes there are ways to run those games. For instance, The Hustle was like GTA and SOCOM but with a little searching, you can find ways of making it run on 1.5 firmwares.
Also, now with a new trick (GTA Cheat code access), this trick is done through the save game data. This will open up new doors on how to run games on 2.0 firmware.
Also, a developer/hacker by the name of MPH (the same person who released the downgrader), has been improving his Firmware Launcher. What this does is emulate firmwares. In other words, you can have 1.5 firmware on your PSP and 2.0+ firmwares on your memory stick. If wanted, you can load up 2.0+ firmware and play 2.0 games while still having 1.5 firmware on the PSP. Unfortunately, this hasnt been done. Latest thing is getting AVC videos to play from the loaded firmware as well as the browser (firmware 2.5 only).
No, it will not work on 1.5 firmware. It requires the actual 2.0+ firmwares inorder to play.Originally Posted by Dylan1CC
