At this point I watch the show every week just to see if it can get any worse.

When everyone was prophecising the doom of the show because Steve Carrell was leaving I kept saying that the show was stronger than one character... looks like I was wrong. Well, I wasn't wrong, but they proved me wrong... or something.

This season has been par or better than the last 2 seasons of Carrell, albeit aimless. Last week's episode, though, with Dwight running rampant was probably winner of the evening over Parks & Rec and 30 Rock.

Anything with Andy is painfully embarrassing. It's just stupid and/or lazy writing, and I would be fine with them just excising the character for that new lady. I mean, she's absurd, but it works if they can keep enough of the other crew reigned it. The show was getting really awful, and Andy aside, I was surprised that the past few episodes were able to produce some decent material. Jim, Dwight, and Ryan are still pretty spot-on.

The Florida stuff (including the cold open of the first episode while there) was brilliant. Then they reset it. Then it went back to being... whatever it is now.
