Doom 3 is the original Quake with better lighting. Aside from the atmosphere it's pretty middle-of-the-road.

Hal Life 2 > Doom 3 = Far Cry > UT2K4 = Riddick > Halo 2

Keep in mind multiplayer isn't as fun to me as it used to be and I subtract at least 10% from any console shooter as I think we still haven't gotten over the "wow, consoles have FPSes too? Neat!" phase.

Returns the monster abilities back to what they were (no leaping imps with curved fireballs), takes out reloading, and uses the old maps but all done with the Doom 3 engine so it looks amazing as hell and can actually be scary. They've only got three levels done so far, which is the only downfall.

I'm going through all my old games now. for a while I'd buy them and just put them aside.

Currently, Fantavision is in my PS2, which I'm actually surprised by. Its actually a quality puzzle game. Gonna whip out and finally finish Ninja Gaiden tonight (probably).
