Uh, I think he may be speaking of the fact that the PSOne sold more units than the DC. I don't know if this is a fact, I'm just telling you what I think he meant.
Sure, but that would be comparing numbers from a console that is still in production, to one that was discontinued. If there was no PS2, the Dreamcast would have been around at least one more year.
