  1. I'm just spitballin', go ahead and substitute 'partially' if that makes your shoes fit better.

  2. Quentin didn't give Ennio enough time to score the whole affair, so they used three Thing tracks. This made me expect only 3 or four original tunes, but there are about a dozen. It's cool to see him stray from hipster pop.

  3. Bret Easton Ellis conducted a great Tarantino interview on his newest podcast. Tarantino says feels Hateful is his best-directed movie. I'd say that comes through.

    Hey, here's a guy who doesn't get it: http://www.theverge.com/2015/12/31/1...tino-criticism

Can't believe it took The Verge ten whole paragraphs before slighting the movie for having victims who are women and non-white men. That seems to be the thrust of every poor review of this movie, which is part of what

I don't think I'd have liked it as much as I did without the righteous indignation building around me in the college age, college town theater.

  4. Just so that we are NOT completely off topic, THE reminds me quite a bit of Inglourious Basterds. The interrogation and basement scenes immediately come to mind.

I hope QT doesn't stop making movies after 10.

  5. I can't imagine that would be so.

I saw this last night. I think I missed the "roadshow" and got no pamphlet, but I did see the celluloid print with the intermission, so that's all I cared about. Although there was a scratch down the middle of the screen for one of the reels. Remember that shit?

I really liked it. I agree it captured a lot of what I liked about Reservoir dogs. Probably my favorite Tarantino flick since Kill Bill.

I forgot about him. I meant John Ruth & OB

Saw it again round 3. Still love it. Still get sad about the innocent dying.

Yeller, which one of these you want?
