I got 6 or 7 needles full of that shit into my gums AFTER the IV was in.

Now THAT was a good time for a few hours.

Now my mouth is in excruciating pain. Fucking baby vics.

I remember those injections. The best was the shot of novocain to the roof of my mouth. The ones close to the gums and cheek weren't so bad, but once that shot went into the roof of my mouth - O M G. That shit was a tad on the painful side.

You should totally try and get some percocets instead of those vics.

Everything I do is ran through my parents for the month until I'm back in MD. I can't even abuse the Vics if I wanted, let alone get them to get me percs.

The numbness from the novocain just disappeared all over. One of my wounds started bleeding a fuckload after I took the last gauze out while the others are almost done bleeding.

It's fucking hurting now but i'll take a few more vics in a little while. I also just ate an icepop and some yogurt. I really want a fucking rack of ribs.

I've been trying to recall the surgery cuz my mother said i was in there 30-45 mins... I thought it was like 3-5 mins. I don't remember ever falling alseep and I vaguely remember them working on every tooth but goddamn I was zonked. I'd love to know if I fell asleep or not.

Regardless...the IV made it all worth it cuz that shit was awesome up until about an hour after they took it out.

I wouldn't do that if I were you. Stick to the "soft" diet for a week. Trust me. Getting a piece of "hard" food stabbing you in your open wound WILL hurt like shit and you'll be downing more vics to help with the pain.

I don't know if I can go a whole week without good food. I'll probably go a few days at least just to avoid a dry socket because jesus a dry socket would suck.

Anyway, thankfully even without any medication the pain is bearable. I could live on just a few Advil, but even if the Vic isn't getting me stoned...it's making life comfortable a few hours at a time.
