I saw her on some talk show and she is disgustingly thin.... She is what, 90lbs? For her height, that is pretty scary.

  2. Continuing the Kryptonite thread.....wasn't kryptonite, even in miniscule amounts, extremely rare and potent in the comics? I remember a book from the 70s I think where Luthor laced a bullet with kryptonite, and it almost killed Supes. I'll have to watch this again, but I had thought that that small shard was a leftover from the shiv that Luthor used.

Statistically speaking, it would have as much chance of hitting some other planet as you'd have hitting a bullseye with a dart thrown from 200 feet away.

Almost being the operative word. He also got shot with a K-bullet by Metallo in Batman/Superman a few years ago. Bats removed it and he was back in top form by the next issue.

  4. By the way, did anyone catch the cameo by Noel Neill in the opening scene? I thought that was nifty.

  5. My dad noticed and pointed it out... also that the bartender at the place Jimmy and Clark went was Jack Larson, who played Jimmy Olsen in the old series.

You know who's small, but has a nice rack for her size, and an ass to go with it?
Radha Mitchell. In Pitch Black, and Sillent Hill they give so many shots of her tits
that she's going to be this weeks obsession.

    Sorry that was off subject.

But she's probably only like that in the movies.

I guess they thought it was ironic since the whole movie he was trying to get his own private island to control and now he has one but it sucks.

Yeah she has a lollipop head. I noticed this in the movie and in premier of SR, she lookes a bit healthier in Blue Crush:

  9. Did anyone else find it just insane that lois would bring her child onto a strangers boat for no real reason? It's hard to find sympathy for them since she just walked onto a private boat for no real reason. I buy she found out where the outage started, but it started in the house not the boat she would have no reason to go onto it. Moreover the boat wasn't locked in any way shape or form it didn't even have a guard. The whole thing made no sense, Luthor wouldn't be stupid enough to let anyone waltz into his private boat.

  10. My best friend had a great comment about this film.

    "I went in expecting X2 and I got X-Men 1 instead."

It was a good film, but it wasn't as great as some as the other comic-book films. Routh was very good as Kent/Superman, and the kid was not annoying.

I liked Spacey as Luthor, but it pales in comparison to Clancy Brown's portrayal of Luthor in Justice League Unlimited. Spacey didn't appear as a strong enough foil for Superman, and that took away from the film.

Nonetheless, they did just about everything else right, and I'm confident Singer will make a stronger sequel.
