There is no question there will be a sequel. The question is if Singer will do it.

The movie was a disappointment financially, but didn't bomb! Last I heard 185M in USA and something over 280M worldwide.

I am not a Pirates fan. Even though Supers could have been better, I still liked it quite a bit. I don't understand all the PotC love.

Singer is signed for a sequel, he'll do it... if they did 280 worldwide without any DVD sales yet, I'm sure it'll happen... I'm just sure they'll lay the action on thick.

Anyways on the Superman Returns DVD (from SHH):

One thing becomes immediately apparent when watching the bonus features on this DVD – they were holding back. There's no commentary, no internet featurettes, no footage from the deleted 'return to Krypton' sequence, nothing on the creation of the special effects, or other things you might expect. What's here is still very good, but nowhere near what they could actually offer. You can expect a Super Duper version of the DVD to come in the future.

I guess Ill be waiting for the "suped-up" version then. What in the fuck was so hard about putting that Krypton stuff in there?

i sat in on a bryan singer panel at the san diego comic-con this last year and he said he wasn't going to put that footage in this DVD. I think he is using it for the possible sequel.

It's about stupidity, too. Buy this and then buy it again because XYZ release has more features, deleted scenes, naked Superman pics, etc...

How many different variations of T2 have been released over the years? :P
