It's probably cheaper for a reason...
And the Logitech one looks to be more sexy.

It looks like a really cool device. It seems to be much cheaper than the Logitech one so I've been looking forward to getting one. Thing is, besides the magazine adds(same ad page as the Speakercom)which have been in mags for the last few months there has been absolutely no news what so ever. Today was the first time I've seen the device on the nyko siteHas anyone seen these in stores anywhere?

I read in one of the major magazines(can't remember which one) that the Logitech one had a constant clicking in it. They tested more than one of them and under every cirmcustance they got the clicking.
That plus the fact that nowhere have I seen exactly how the Logitech one actually connects to the system makes me wait until I get excellent reports from somewhere before I'll piss away 80 bucks on it.
You want a deal? Go find a dollar store that sells stuff for cell phones and see if you can find an earphone speaker.
If anything, I would want a bluetooth peripheral for an XBL headset. I wonder if Microsoft is planning a new headset for the Xbox 2 online service?
True. I own one of these and they're pretty cool but require charging after roughly 6 hours of continuous play. Plus on occassion, the headset gives off that static-like sound you usually hear on cordless phones. Other than that, the noise filtering is an added bonus, something that most third-party peripherals lack. Unfortunately, it doesn't come cheap, ultimately being its biggest drawback.Originally Posted by Chux
