Join de club, mon. Tomb Raider is to Mrs. FX what Mega Man is to me, yep.Originally Posted by Yoshi
I played the demo today, and they really did a pretty good job, but at the same time it's not a game I need to play ever again. The combat is stiff and the direction flow of the game can get confusing. I beat the demo, and if I was given this game as a gift I'd play it, but I have no desire to rent or play it again.

I beat this game just this morning. It is a really good return to what made TR great but it just misses the mark for top 2 in the series. The main problem is the game is a bit short and doesn't get to the really good stuff until the last 1/4 of the game. When it is good it's really good. I just hope the inevitable sequel starts where this one left off as far as levels because the end levels are much better than the beginning ones.
Minor ending spoiler: You will be pissed if you don't like cliffhanger endings.
Can you give more impressions Yoshi? I'm getting a 360 this week, I've got my eye on this.
Rumpy, if you liked/loved TR1 or TR 4(Last Revelation) then you will dig this entry. It is a return to roots with the way combat is kind of secondary to the exploring, which is what made TR great. I played it on hard mode right from the beginning and I'm glad I did. It would have been a cakewalk on any other difficulty.
So, the last 30 minutes? The inevitable sequel should start for free.Originally Posted by Glass Joe

Don't be a sucker, people who haven't but might actually buy this. I loved TR1, this is crap.
