For gym sneakers, I usually go with Nikes (current pair are Air Pegasus, probably ran me about $90). Just about ever other kind of footwear, I go with Sketchers. I love Sketchers, and I have like a million pairs of them. Dress shoes, casual shoes, casual sneakers, boots, whatever. They look sharp and are comfortable as hell.

You can always find cheaper clothes that are 90% of what the more expensive stuff is. But if you have the cash, why not spend it to get that additional 10%? It just makes sense. Especially since great clothes sends out a statement when youre wearing them that, say, spending hundreds of dollars on videogames for your lair does not.

He'd rather have fading that makes it look like he wears his jeans done by a factory instead of actually going out and wearing them. Not that I'm holding it against him that he buys pre-faded jeans, but more for that he made it sound like that was the only reason he spends tons of extra cash on them.

I've got some pre-faded jeans as well but they were like $20 at Marshalls. I've also got a pair of FuBu jeans which I didn't entirely want because of the blatant logo on them, but they were $10 cheaper then the other pairs currently there and a lot more comfortable.

  7. i like adidas or nike, these are my current sneakers:

It really depends on your price range. If you're looking for good, cheap, jeans, Old Navy has a lot of variety. Old Navy is also nice because they have a lot in stock, which means that if you wear a kind of strange size (I wear 31 x 30), it's likely that they'll have it.

I've gotten a lot of compliments on a "rustic" pair of Gap jeans that I have. From what I've seen, Gap has the best washes and colors for the money, around $50-$60. These are also some of the best fitting for the money, imo. However, they don't feel as durable as even the Old Navy Jeans, and they fade rather quickly. They get very comfortable, though, as they soften up. If you look around, they'll usually have an older pair on a clearance rack marked about half off.

I also have a few pairs of Levi's that I got a while back for free. They're boot cut jeans that fit rather tightly... 517's I think? They seem really durable, but their sizes run a little smaller than other pairs, and it seems like they get really stiff whenever they're put in the wash.

I think that all of my jeans are about a year to a year and a half old, and I wear most pairs twice a week (on one wash). I think that I can probably squeeze another 5 or 6 months out of them, but then I"ll have to start looking for some new ones.

  9. gap jeans last forever, i still have pairs from high school, old navy jeans disintegrate after a few washings, abercrombies are pretty sturdy also but expensive, i also like their cargo pants. I hate going shopping so if jeans or pants lasts me a long time ill just wear them into the ground, everytime my parents visit me at school my mom always has to drag me shopping so thats next weekend so i guess ill be getting some new jeans definitely hopefully from the gap.

Fading jeans by wearing them...it would take a near decade with how ... often? I wear jeans.

As for these, they ran about $150 and the only thing I hate the button zipper, but oh well. <3
