Crazy.

Looks kind of like Underworld minus the hot chick.So, what is supposed to be going down in this movie a war betweeen were-tigers,zombies,and "Akira"- like telepaths?

Its decent, but as I said in previous threads, its being overhyped. It has some nice vusual fx (especially for Russian film) and neat ideas, but it overly long, storyline may confuse you if you not familiar with the books that its based on, it has some pacing problems, and some overracting (but thats comes with territory). Trailer shows off most of the better parts, and dont expect too much action since it has just a few action sequences, and for most of the film duration moves at slow pace.

Part 2 will be coming out this Summer in Russia, with following realease in US..

Its more of Constantine, with dark vibes, and struggle between 2 sides to keep the balance, and bad guys trying to tip the scales in their favor, by using mortals with extraordinary powers

Again, most of those sfx flashes you see in the trailer (like were-tiger scene), is pretty much all what you will see in the movie. LOTR like battle does goes for longer time though, so does Anton vs Vampire Barber fight.
