Warbucks has swallowed the GM kool-aid. You are much too optimistic about your employer's financial prospects.
Anyways, GM has been doing some good things, like the Corvette, the Cadillacs - I think it's bizarre that they are choosing to use these global platforms to create new FWD cars that won't sell. They should have been following Chrysler's lead by creating cheap RWD cars that play off of GM's heritage (not Australian imports that cost too much and look like they were designed in 1998, not 1968). That new Saturn roadster looks nice. Buick's management seems like it knows what it is doing.
GM is destroying SAAB - might as well shut it down now. I would have put SAAB into a relationship with Subaru similar to the Lexus-Toyota relationship - instead, Subaru is getting $45,000 cars and SAAB is getting Trailblazer knockoffs. Hah. It's like no one at GM even knows who buys SAABs in the US. Not pushing harder with the SAABaru ideas, like the 9-2x, will have been what kills SAAB in the end.

Don't take that the wrong way, My company has made billions, I can't fault their logic, now I don't always agree with them. But we did take Lutz from Dodge and that's gonna be huge.
