No it is the point, you shouldn't even have to worry about the AI being "broken", because you shouldn't even need to play the single player. Even still, the AI in PGR is leaps and bounds better than the AI found in most racing games, and the single player is leaps and bounds better than the SP found in most racing games, but who really cares when you have the best online racing interface for any system.Originally Posted by Dragonmaster Dyne

Don't you have to in order to unlock the cars for use in multiplayer?Originally Posted by BrAnDX105
Nope.
did you even read what he wrote?Originally Posted by Dragonmaster Dyne
Awesome. More games need to allow unlockables through both multiplayer and single-player, the only other one I can recall that did that was MvC2.Originally Posted by epmode
I don't get it, is this supposed to be a joke?Originally Posted by Dragonmaster Dyne
Forza has the same type of thing, where you can earn points for new cars in the single player and through Live.Originally Posted by MechDeus

Way to completely miss my (and BrandX's) point, nit. PGR2 is a better singleplayer experience than most other racers out there.Originally Posted by Dragonmaster Dyne
Not quite true -- there are some cars you can only get by finishing the single player game (nothing essential, since the fastest cars are from the XBL packs now), but having to play classes with bottom tier cars trying to build up the tokens to get better cars is annoying as hell, and it takes forever too. You really need to play the SP game if you want to be up and competetive quickly.Originally Posted by epmode
(It is a much nicer system than most games, though. Forza does it better, too.)

Ok, since people have been going on, back and forth about these images actually being gaming pictures, let me add this. I-8 (A next gen. console game from Insomniac Games, who made Ratchet and Clank) had shown it's footage shown off at E3 this year. The man was on AOTS last week, talking about a few games. He stated that it was actual game footage. No Pre-Rendered shit. Real in-game footage. It's also the same story for Gears Of War (from the dude who made Unreal Tournament). If you have seen both of these games, you won't believe it to be the game, just some video. I'm sorry, but this is all possible. How can someone sit here and say it's not possible, yet we can just from those shitting PS1 graphics, with videos that were beautiful, but the game didn't look great, then the PS2 come out, and the gameplay on it looks so much better than the videos on PS1. It's possible and I believe it.
Was anybody questioning whether they were in-game?
