    Great description Despair.

  2. We'll always have our memories.
    Time for a change

  3. I think that the faster zombies are scarier. I don't see how it's that implausible, since they are dead they wouldn't fatigue and could push their bodies to the limit since they can't feel pain. After awhile the wear and tear would make them slow down though. This movie can definately kick ass, even a shitty zombie movie is still a zombie movie which gives it +1 in my books.

  4. Dead muscles and tissue become stiff (rigor mortis ), and thus would prevent any fast motions in theory. Running would work for infected in 28 Days later, who in fact are not dead, or if zombies were mutates humans.

It did work in Return of the Living Dead series, or in Peter Jackson's Dead Alive, howvewer zombies in those films, were unortodox to begin with, with ability to run, speak, crave brains, being almost completely undestructable, where conventional zombies just require shot in the head, or any other kind of brain damage/separation.

That what modern public wants, to good old shambling walking corpses are going the way of the dinosaurs.

It would be nice of them to realease a trailer for this, since the new date is so close now.

I will keep my expectations low, but still hope that it will be at least decent.

Ummm... Source? All that I have read is that the zombies are taking a "Bub from Day of the Dead" approach by learning and adapting, not running.

Besides that, Romero has gone on record many times as saying that fast zombies aren't scary at all.

That sounds a little too resident evil'ish to me. We could expect to have our licker, hunter, and possibly tyrant types show up to wreck havok just to boost tension.
"Your soul better belong to Jesus, mmm-mmmmm..... cause your ass belongs to me!"

  7. Even bad zombie movies are a good thing so I'm not complaining.
