Shit, I don't know what to think. So far it doesn't look much different from every other new-age zombie movie out there.
All I can really say is that in the next 3 months I will be spending a hell of a lot more money in theaters than I would've originally thought.

I didn't read the script but it seems everyone thinks it sucks. I also didn't read the original Day of the Dead script and everyone thought that was great.Originally Posted by sethsez

The problem is it's barely a zombie flick. They're way too intelligent... it's more like an apocalyptic action movie that just happens to have some living dead in it.

You sure do know your zombiesDead muscles and tissue become stiff (rigor mortis), and thus would prevent any fast motions in theory. Running would work for infected in 28 Days later, who in fact are not dead, or if zombies were mutates humans.
It did work in Return of the Living Dead series, or in Peter Jackson's Dead Alive, howvewer zombies in those films, were unortodox to begin with, with ability to run, speak, crave brains, being almost completely undestructable, where conventional zombies just require shot in the head, or any other kind of brain damage/separation.

I just thought that I would comment that not all of Romero's Zombies were slow. Night of the Living dead had some decently quick ones. Nonetheless not as fast as the remake or other films.
Anyways, thanks for the link. That trailer made my (otherwise shitty) day.
