I'm not angry. You're just an idiot. Someone who is 22 should not be saying "watch him crawl out of the hole he dug", especially when they say something logically flawed like "If there is no best, then how can PC FPSs be better?"

I don't see how being 22 has anything to do with it, regardless of the fact that that wasn't what I said.

Also, it's just as logically flawed to say "There is no best," then turn right around and say, "The best shooter is on PC."

As for the second thing, if someone made me pick a shooter, it would be a PC shooter. That's all that means.

Let me show you how it works: There are two Ferraris that I like equally, and the rest not as much and to varying degrees. There is no best Ferrari, because there are two that I like equally. However, if you say "Pick a Ferrari", it will be one of those two. I'm not going to not pick any and say "I can't decide".

That means nothing. What was their competition? This whole debacle started because all the PC fanboys were saying HALO 2 isn't as good as a PC shooter, yet noone has mentioned a PC shooter even its equal, much less its better. Ergo, for its time, HALO 2 is the best multiplayer shooter.

This thread makes me wish I could play Tribes again, but I don't feel like hooking up my PC. The tragedy. Also, being the only person on your team in team slayer mode sucks. Damn quitters.

I downloaded Tribes 1 when they started offering it for free on FilePlanet.

The game fucking BLOWS now. Its ugly, slow, clunky, and ridiculous.

Not worth your time anymore. Amazing in 1999, though, but I think it was maybe because of novelty than anything else back then. ^__^
