Huh? I stated I think there are games with better balance, pace and level design, which are the most important factors for me. Quake 3 comes to mind.

I downloaded Tribes 1 when they started offering it for free on FilePlanet.

The game fucking BLOWS now. Its ugly, slow, clunky, and ridiculous.

Not worth your time anymore. Amazing in 1999, though, but I think it was maybe because of novelty than anything else back then. ^__^

True.

The main thing I don't get about this whole PC only argument is that there's really no other FPS that plays like Halo 2. Yeah, it has huge maps and vehicles and is team based, but it's at a much different pace than UT2k4, with a completely different kind of weapon set and physics. Not to mention the grenades.

Agreed. It's all just an opinion. DId people actually think we were going to arrive at "the best shooter"?

I'm a little late, but Joust = owned himself multiple times.

And Shogo was fucking awesome. The on foot missions were a little average, but the mech action more than made up for it.
