Bandai can and has done good things, albeit infrequently.

At the time those games came out Sega was doing some serious ass-kicking. I've got nothing against Bandai, and even own Silent Bomber and wonder what the hell I was thinking selling my copy of Ghost in the Shell (PSX), but I can't say their track record is brilliant. Basically, they're a semi-competent version of Acclaim.

Amm, there are some exceptions, yes, but by and large, the worst Sega stuff out there now is still better than Bandai's stuff. The PSOne Ghost in the Shell game is one example, while the GC Ultimate Muscle game would be another (although that lacks match types). I forgot about that one, actually. I stand by my point that Sega's stuff is usually better than Bandai's nowadays. After thinking about the possibilities behind this merger, I'm actually in favor of it, although much of that is due to me envisioning Katamari Damacy with anime characters.

Fuck. I've always wanted to play that game and I forgot all about it until now.

Now I'm going to think about hunting it down for at least a week now, before I lose interest and forget again. Grr.
