I once washed my SP and it was fine. The water was on cold, I dont us much detergent, and there was a catrige in the slot (which I assume blocked most of the water from the guts) but still, Nintendo makes some invincible shit.

I washed and dried a PSX memory card about 3 years ago and it's still works to this day; I even used it for my Chrono Cross save a few months back.
