Thread: Awesome Forza Custom Paintjobs

  1. The top of the car rules.

  2. Definitely. I love the color fading as well. I planned on doing a Star Wars theme for a car showcase, and it's good to know that it can be done with the in-game tools. Now whether or not I can do it is another story.

  3. People got too much time on their hands.

  4. 100 LAYERS!

I want this just for the custom paint jobs. I know you can buy other people's cars but they should allow the ability to sell/trade designs. Doesn't this sorta break MS created content policy? I'm sure I'll see a goatse themed (Dave's) car soon.

  5. soundwave, the scary part is that it's 100 layers for each side. MS really outdid themselves for this game. I'm envisioning a Green Hill-esque Sonic theme for this. God bless the square-heavy design in that level.

  6. I'm also considering buying it just to make custom cars, btw.

  7. It certainly seems worth it. What's even better is that you can do all of these things right when you get the game, as the designs are free to make on any car.

Wow, you obviously haven't been paying attention. Seems pretty odd considering you've claimed to have the game well before it was launched.

  9. He works for IGN, so he does stand to reason that he'd have access to it before the public. Given that OXM and other publications miss the seemingly obvious from time to time (like with Sonic Mega Collection Plus' full screen play), he probably just missed it. The video should clear it up for him.

Oh, I knew where to apply existing decals and such, but those pictures made it look like there was some way to create your own decals, to actually draw a pattern. I didn't realize you could do such detailed stuff by arranging pre-existing decals and manipulating them--quite genius (especially that Star Wars one--ugly design, but amazing detail).
