Thread: The resurgance of the beat-em-up genre?

Beat em ups are dead to me, and The Warriors, and Final Fight Streetwise drove the nail further into the coffin. As far as I'm concerned, the last and only good 3D beat em up was Dynamite Cop on the DC.
Dynamite Cop starts out decent, but it's too short. Spikeout Battlestreet is better for a 3D beatemup, IMO.

I'm with Kedawa- a Ninja Warriors Again type game with at least KOF visuals would be nice.

    Finished in 2021: 8 games (PC: 4, PS4: 2, PS3: 1, X1: 1)

  5. There's only one thing I need in my beat-'em-ups: 80's fashion. On everybody.

You beat me to that exact reply.

Sengoku 3 was decent but I felt all the combo stuff didn't add much to the game or make in anymore enjoyable.

At least I have something to contribute to the thread.
You don't have to be smart; you don't have to know the facts, you just have to be confident.

  8. I have high hopes for God Hand. I found the E3 demo pretty fun,and hope they can pull off a full game's worth of entertainment. It's beat-'em-ups last hope at the moment.
