pretty wild stuff
I'll throw my cat into the mix: Little Grey Bastard.
I have three cats currently, but no pictures of one. Here are the others, and one that passed away.
Jasmine. Jazzie's retarded, literally, a little bit. We rescued her from a shelter she had been at for three years, as nobody wanted to adopt her (despite her going in as a kitten). She's wall-eyed a little bit, has no balance or perception to speak of (and falls off everything she tries to jump on to), and she's a carrier of a virus. We had to pay quite a bit to have our other cats immunized. She's a real sweetie though, if you pet her once she'll follow you around for ages all happy and waiting for more attention. A bit of a wimp.
Puma died a year ago, at 14. He was really jittery and scrawny for most of his life, but once my mother and our senior cat moved out, his personality just jumped out of nowhere. He loved everyone, after a little hesitation, and was just so cool. He'd headbutt everybody in affection, so we usually called him HBK (headbutt kitty, don't ask). He drooled a lot too- he'd purr so much when he was happy he couldn't keep his mouth shut. Sucked seeing him waste away his last few months, he developed a calcium problem and he just withered. He was three pounds when we finally put him to sleep.
Quark is a dumbass runt, but I love him. He attacks the other cats constantly (especially Jasmine) but he's very, very nice to me (and Tain, actually). Sit on my lap when I'm at the computer, cries if I don't let him sleep in my room, and runs around following me all the time. Got him from a friend when he was a tiny kitten, an ugly one at that. Nasty eye goop infection from living in a dirty barn. he's adorable now, though the picture doesn't show. I took that when he got into some laundry detergent and we had to give him a bath. He was surprisingly calm about being thrown into a tub. He's a very, very fat looking runt because he has poofy fur. Not really long-haired, but not the standard domestic short-hair. Still soft like a kitten, too. He's pretty awesome when he isn't getting himself stuck in plastic bags at 3am and making me wake up.
LALW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Record a video some time so we can all witness this.Originally Posted by Nomi
Seriously, though, nice cats. Puma reminds me a lot of mine, only mine has orange eyes.
I really should get video of Jasmine. It's kind of sad and pathetic, but we all laugh at it. Cats like to perch on shit, and she has that desire, but she just can't do it. She tries to jump from the floor onto this half-height divider in our kitchen and she falls right off the eight-inch wide ledge. All the time. She doesn't land on her feet, either. Sort of smacks her head on the table to break her fall o_- I have a really funny picture of her looking super-walleyed, but I can't find it anywhere. The one I posted of her is the most flattering picture ever.
