I read the first book back when I was in grade school, and had to do a book report and speech on it in class one day.In the middle of my speech a girl in my class, interrupted and yelled out - "Isnt that a girl's book?!" - Fucking bitch - I spent the rest of my speech time trying to convince the class it wasnt - I kicked her over when she was on her bike after class,and got grounded for it - fucking bitch....

The Narnia Chronicals are one of my favorite series ever. I actually have a boxset of those book from like 15 years ago. Might have to go read them again. The weird thing was, I first read them when I was like 11, but I never caught the whole bible symbolism until I read them again when I was 16. Pretty cool.

Why are they calling this Chapter 1? Isn't it The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe part 3 or something?

Anyway, looks good, I've been awaiting this for a few months now. I read the books god-only-knows how many years and really don't remember anything about them (aside from some vague points from LW&W because of the TV series or movie or whatever and I think one of the kids becomes a king in one of the books), but it'd be great for them to do the whole series.

Also seems like WETA is getting a bunch of work after LotR. I had never heard of them before that trilogy and now they've got at least this and Evangelion in the works right now and I'll bet they've probably got offers for more stuff down the line. It's good to see another excellent special effects studio take off and starting to join the ranks of ILM. Speaking of which, has Winston Studios done much lately, I haven't seen their name crop up in quite a while now?
