And again, art must say something in order to be considered art (good or bad).

Sonic Adventure has pictures, music, and little stage plays. Those things are all unquestionably art. A 3D model of Tails has no less intrinsic value than Rodin's Thinker; context and subjection are everything in art.

If you're looking for a statement, it portrays an archetypal message of the socially integrated higher self triumphing over the selfish ego as embodied in the form of Dr. Robotnik.

It's definitely art, it's just cheesy art.
