But yeah, the feature to obtain custom face plates is pretty ripe. Shit, you can make your own, too!

Aside from color choices, there really hasn't been a choice. Even then GC and Gameboys have been the only real hardware to give you a choice. I don't count those retarded xbox overlays either. Most just look like...retarded stickers.

Becuase I don't care how a console looks, just how it performs and how fun the games are. It's the same reason I don't care how my car looks, I want it to get me from point A to point B, I don't need racing stripes and a spoiler. Customizing the way it looks shows I have too much time and money on my hands to worry about such a petty thing. Am I gonna not play the games because it's a shit brown color that's in the shape of an elephant? I may think it's an odd design choice, but it won't bother me in terms of playing games.

EDIT: I'm building a new PC, and I went with the cheapest case that my motherboard would fit in... I could have spent 4x as much on one tha tlooked "nice" but what do I care what it looks like? it's still the same PC, and the money I "saved" can go towards more RAM or a bigger HD or something.

Any speculation on what the launch day titles will be? I'm guessing:

• FFXI probably will be, so long as 360 Live is up & running.

I figured the above based on it basically being a slightly upgraded port of the PC version, but apparently the beta doesn't begin until the system launches.

Cooling and expandability factor heavily in what PC cases I use.
