    lol, bulee dat yo.

  2. So I rented that new Lord of the Rings RTS, and Ive got to say, wow is this a sad game. I know RTS games arent exactly at home on consoles, but its not even the management that really hurts the game. Its the graphics running very choppy, the load times from a bad ps2 game, and the camera control is horrible. Avoid!

  3. Got good reviews (not that I'm arguing, just pointing out)...

I am glad that Zboz is slow right now (although I wish XBLA wasn't). Other than Prey, I can pretty much save my money for a couple more months. LOL @ Japan's Over G Fighters and Chromehounds. Japan sucks.

I rented Over G Fighters just before I seen any reviews. Holy fuck it sucks a nut. It made me want to play a flight game though so I rented Blazing Angels after I took back Over G. Blaze was ok, at least it didnt suck a huge stinky cock like Over G does.
Korly-"Everyone here is an asshole, SURPRISE!"

Latro (JM) and I just played a two hour match on Live and it was pretty damned fun (I believe the match length was a product of our poor skills). Troop management is streamlined and well-mapped to the controller, and the analogs work well for the camera. I agree, though, that the camera itself can be a bit jittery and difficult for fine control. The only graphic chop I noticed was during the tutorial -- everything ran smooth during our match from what I saw. I need to spend a lot more time with the game, but so far it seems to be a satisfyingly deep RTS, with tons of maps and scenario options both online and off. The only really annoyances thus far are the typically shitty EA servers (where you already need a workaround just to answer an invite) and the unbelievably shitty manual that tells you next to nothing about how to play the game.

I didn't have any trouble at all with the EA server, and I got on and played with JM shortly after you guys got off. Our games didn't last as long due to my lack of skills and knowledge. So far the more I play it the more I enjoy it. It's a really deep game and really fun in single player if you have the patience to learn it. I can't wait to play online again soon, probably today. This seems to be a really good game.

  7. I'm thinking about getting a memory card for the 360, as I don't want to start Oblivion over when I head home for two weeks in August. I have a question about it, though. If I transfer the file from my housemate's 360 to my 360, will the file be put under an existing gamertag on my 360 or will it bring over the gamertag that I used on my housemate's 360?

I don't think we have a thread for it here, what's it like?

It'll start off with the other gamertag and then you can import the save to your profile, and it will then automatically remove it from the other. At least, that's how it worked with Burnout Revenge when I started playing before I imported my gamertag.
