I'm a monster at this game now. I'm ready to play some of the better players here, instead of preying on the weak (Josh, Chux). Who's up for some games later?

Edit: Last night I saw that Latro (JM) was on, and wanted to join his game. Couldn't do it from the pop-up (big "X" button) Live menu, even though he is on my Friends List and it showed that he was playing the game. Is there some other menu I need to go to? I can't believe that there's no way to join a friend's game.

I can't stand this game. It's not that it isn't good, because my god it is, but I am just not dedicated enought, plus I suck at fighters, to get good at this game. Every time I think I am getting better, all my skill seems to float away.

1. Go into Sparring.
2. Pick a character.
3. Review move list.
4. Pick just a few moves/combos to practice.
5. Set opponent CPU at around 3 or 4 for starters, and play for 10 minutes.
6. Repeat, and adjust CPU accordingly.

You will be at least decent with that character within an hour or two. No need for dedication.

Stick with it, the more practice the better you get. That's the attraction of a fighting game, you should be shitty when you start. It's when you grasp the mechanics of the game when it really opens up.

Fuck I want this game.

Unless the option to "Join Game in Progress" is an option in the Xbox Guide menu, you can't just hop in. The most easiest option would be to have him send you an invite.

Basically what I said in my extensive response -- sparring mode is your friend.
