Is Ryu a decent character or should I concentrate on someone else? He doesn't need to be a top-tier but I'd like to know if I'm wasting my time with him.

Except Leon, who's similar but noteably inferior to Bayman, I'd say everyone's competitive. I even do fine with Leon. I haven't played much Hayabusa, but I've placed plenty against him, and he seems pretty good. He was strong in DOAU.

All his cheesy stuff is really powerful with even a bit of latency. I'm sure someone who was proficient with him would be even better. He has huge juggles and an unbreakable combo throw, big bonuses. Not sure about frame advantages and that sort of stuff since I haven't researched him.

Holy shit, any interest I had in getting a 360 and playing this game just went far, far away and died. I can do without the live experience for as long as I live thankyouverymuch.

This is what happens when you make fighting games accessible. LOL.

You can mute people and/or send feedback about idiots on Live. Also leaving negative feedback sets it so you'll avoid that player when searching for a game. It's a godsend sometimes.
