I hope its good--playing with/against 50 (possibly more) people simultaneously on launch day would be awsome.

I'm just wondering how the scaling of levels will work, because they said you can scale the size of the levels depending on how many people are playing. That is going to take a rediculous amount of balance.

With regards to level design, I imagine its little more complex than simply multiplying a matrix (a matrix that holds the level data, mind you) by some sort of scalar. That, or the levels are just rings that get progressively opened or closed based on how many people are in it.
Not too involved.

No seriously, good one.
I don't get it, why is Sony's online service going to be so good? Because they have so much experience providing an outstanding online gaming interface? Or because they will use most features that Microsoft implimented for Live?Originally Posted by toxic
I'm banking on the second question.

Live is not really something that takes a ton of ingenuity to pull off once it's done, but rather, money. It's not like a fresh game or anything. That's why I think Sony will ahve something nice.
I fear the amount of Latency that could emerge with that many different connections to one game session. Ever play Big Team Battle in Halo 2?Originally Posted by soundwave
I just think that Sony gamers wont embrace it.Originally Posted by Joust Williams
