I dont want to buy a new platform to play PS2 quality games. I have a PS2 for that. I have no desire for a Cube so Im not going to buy a new platform to play Cube games. A DVD remote gimmick isn't going to make me buy a $200 system. Or even a $50 one.

Nintendo fanboys and completists will own one, of course. But that's a shrinking breed, GameCube sold less than N64 (which sold less than SNES, which sold less than NES).

Developers supported GBA because it was cheap, and most GBA 3rd party games were shitty licensed garbage anyway. A Revolution game isnt as cheap as a GBA game.

Revolution games are going to be a lot cheaper to develop than PS3 or 360 games. And at some point those development costs are going to get down near GBA level.

A rev devkit costs less than the GBA one. It's very likely the rev will be supported like the GBA becuase everything will be so dirt cheap.
