That is so out of place with your avatar.
Ecco wasn't that hard, I beat it a couple of times on the Sega CD back in the day. I lost patience with Tides of Time, though, and never did too much with the Dreamcast version.

What was the development code phrase for the Nintendo 64? Oh that's right - Project Reality. Up until the GC, Nintendo really honestly did try to have hardware that was comparable to or surpassed the competition at release. It's no surprise that Nintendo's marketing and PR since then has focussed on "great new experiences instead of rendering sweat drops on basketball players" and how graphics development is hitting a ceiling; it's because they're getting their asses kicked now. Oh, and because they have a few million people who believe tripe like thisand thisas long as it still make great games, I'll buy its consoles.and get away with releasing a 2001 console in 2006 with some gimmick slapped on.I have more fun playing games on nintendo systems than any other. Hands down.
Also, that Genesis VC game list is very telling. Seems the WiiVC might not have much of a library beyond what Nintendo itself offers and what all the other third parties have regurgitated in hundreds of collections and/or stand-alone plug&play devices through the previous years.

No shit. It's painfully obvious this is becuase Nintendo is getting their ass kicked.
Doesn't change the fact that the wii is a good deal for most people
This same thing was said about XBLA. Nintendo has admitted themselves they want to reveal new stuff through connect/24 so give it some time.
There was original, non-classic stuff available on XBLA on day one (Geometry Wars RE, Outpost Kaloki X, Bankshot Billiards 2).

And that can't happen on Wii becuase....
Personally I don't think it will have new downloadable games at launch. However it's been stated by the guys at nintendo themselves that they plan to put out new stuff when the Wii is out in market.
XBLA besides the new stuff is a bunch of games already on collections(or worse on your cellhone) Street Fighter for all it's hype was still a damn port.
