Miyamoto was the mastermind?
Aonuma worked on OoT as well.

Miyamoto was the director of OOT. It was the last game he had such an involving role, I believe.

Majora is alot more enjoyable with a controller in one hand, and a Gamefaqs Walkthrough in the other.Originally Posted by marwan
Majora's awesome, but yeah if you get frustrated and you're playing it this late just grab a FAQ.

Anyways, i see your point with having an FAQ in the other hand when playing it.
Miyamoto was Producer for Super Mario Sunshine, Ocarina, Majora's Mask, and Wind Waker. Sunshine and Wind Waker have Tezuka alongside him as Producer too. You can find all the credits for various games here: http://n-sider.com/index.phpOriginally Posted by marwan
So on paper at least he occupies the same position. Based on interviews it seems that his degree of creative involvement varies a lot though.
You heard wrong.from what i hear, Majora is just as good as OOT.I honestly don't think it compares to Ocarina at all.
Did you not understand how it worked?Originally Posted by marwan
You don't do everything every single time. Play the song that slows down time and you have PLENTY of time to get a dungeon done or whatever.
It was actually a very clever way of telling the story, like LoZ: Groundhog Day or something.

Wind Waker stylistically is the best Zelda ever but had that tedious sailing and things that I didn't quite like enough to continue playing. I'm told that the warp thingie is a good remedy to that but I dunno.
I'm going to give Aonuma another chance to really wow me with Twilight princess as I'm looking very much forward to playing another Zelda as adult link with those really great looking graphics.

Just looking at the shots and vids, this game looks fucking beautiful. It actually looks almost on par with the Spaceworld footage of Link fighting Ganon, it looks that friggin good! My only gripe is that some environments look a bit too similar to Wind Waker/Majora's Mask stuff, especially that forest dungeon shot.
