When two people (opposite sex or not) decide that instead of hanging out comfortably in familiar situations while they have their conversations that lead to make out and sometimes even sex sessions, decide that instead of such nonsense, they would much rather go out to a really uncomfortable place, or a movie that neither one wants to see, and waste their time and their money while both mutually pretend to be interested in the situation they have put in front of themselves rather than the fact that they'd both rather just be home masturbating.
