You know what, I really dont know. Ive heard stories of miraculous healing before, seemingly against the odds of science. My mom works in a hospital and has told me some weird stories. We're not talking about fucking Zelda or Metroid here. Its his religion, he says he has seen God and has benefitted from God's presence in his life, who are we to judge that? As long as he is better for it thats all that matters as far as I am concerned.

He's not saying "regardless". He's saying 7's is wrong and calling him a lunatic because of his beliefs. Whatever works for you is fine. He's not hurting anybody by believing his disease was cured, and I'm going on the assumption that he's had a doctor look into it and isn't just shrugging it off.
