Are you buying Xbox 360, or waiting for PS3? A simple poll

I'm not making decisions until there're launch specifics. I also don't care what's on the PS3, I'm not buying a launch machine to avoid the usual Sony-brand shitty first run of consoles.
360 it is, then, I guess.

I was going to wait on 360, but Oblivion is a launch or near launch game (GS lists it at November). I will definitly wait on PS3 because there has never been a Playstation that was 100% worth owning at launch, especially given the price and the probability of malfunction. I can be swayed, but I'm not yet.

Yep. Nintendo has no interest in discussing the Revolution then neither should we. Ill be happy to discuss it once we see a controller, a lineup of games, full online plans, feature set, and ballpark price figures.

Talking about the Rev is like talking about Duke Nukem Forever or Chinese Democracy, all we got is a name and vague details. Whats the point?

Forced to get PS3 eventually for Silent Hill and MGS4. Unless they're multi console.

source? I have been following oblivion prety clsoely and there has been no official announcement of a ps3 port, period. game informer hinted it but never backed it up. Not saying it wont come on ps3, the only non-pc platform mentioned by bethesda has been the 360. (not that it will matter because if you dont buy it for pc, you are buying a lesser version)

I'm holding off on 360 until I see something that interests me. I'll probably get the PS3 first, then the Rev., solely for its backwards library. I never got a Gamecube, and there are a bunch of old games I'd like to play again.

Yeah, but it's coming to 360 well before the PS3 is out. If the Live features are as good as they can be then I see no reason to own the PS3 version anyway.
