Holy shit. I want this. I really want this.
However, I'm not paying $15 for this. Damn bidders.
Allow me to plug my eBay auction for the 2002 E3 e-Reader promo pack:
Click here to read a Tips & Tricks magazine article proclaiming these as "The Rarest E-Reader Cards"One brand-new, FACTORY SEALED pack of E3 2002 Special Edition Nintendo e-Reader cards, originally handed out at the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) in Los Angeles from May 22-24, 2002. This is four months before the e-Reader itself even came out!
Inside are the four rarest e-Reader cards of them all, each one untouched and in PRISTINE MINT CONDITION, still unopened in their original packaging!!
This rare packet of e-Reader cards from E3 2002 contains four e-Reader cards, all of which were only available at E3 2002 and never printed again:
* An early alternate version of the Manhole Game & Watch card
* An early alternate version of the Pichu Pokemon Expedition card
* An early alternate version of the Hoppip Pokemon Expedition card
* THE ULTRA RARE KIRBY E3 CONTEST CARD, by far the rarest e-Reader card ever made!
Most of these card packs were ripped open at E3 by attendees, so that they could be scanned for a chance to win prizes. Furthermore, the Kirby cards were torn in half by Nintendo rep so that attendees couldn't try to use a winning card twice!
These haven't shown up on eBay forever! Truly a rare item.
