not like it was hard in prophecies i had atleast two full stacks of each in storage.
Diff, ranger armor typically uses cloth, leather and fur squares and leather squares. Cloth and leather is easy as hell to get on factions. I could easily spot you some.

It's pretty cool, the Luxons (Yay!) assault a Kurzick (Emos! Boooo!) outpost with giant turltes with frickin' laser, er...cannons strapped to their back. The third match I found a skill set I really like.
Bestial Wrath (attack speed up) Desperate Strike (dagger attack with plus damage when low on health) Jungle Strike (dagger attack with plus damage and removes a stance from your foe if it hits) Repeating Strikes (ann offhand dagger attack that can be spammed)
Then Master Trapper (or something like that, makes it so your traps aren't easily interrupted) Barbed Trap, Flame Trap, and a 75% chance to block stance.
I'm leaning A/R with my first Factions char. Is there any specific reason you went Ranger primary?
Yeah. Primarily because 13 points in expertise makes a five energy skill (the energy cost for most dagger attacks) a TWO energy skill. Expertise also governs the master trapper skill and the 75 chance to block talents I like. Critical Strikes, which increases chance to crit by one percent each rank and gives you energy for crits didn't have many skills that appealed to me.
Ranger armor has one less strike of energy regen, but expertise more than makes up for that and ranger armor has 30 more armor aganst elemental attacks. Aesthetically, Assassins are just too scrawny for my tastes.
Lastly, Assassins are spit upon since they're typically so squishy and extremely overpopulated.
I haven't lost to an assassin in PvP with my Illusionary Warrior build yet. I could take them one-on-one all day.
Plus most don't know enough about using a spell for speed and teleporting back. That's a great trick for leading some away from the fight.Originally Posted by alan_fatima

Do assassins attack faster with their daggers than warriors do with swords? If so, maybe my IW build should become and Illusionary Assassin.
I just bought Factions a week before finals. Probably a bad idea, but the urge finally got to me. I'm studying as it's downloading.
I really wish I had my Prophecies character, still. What's the guild name?
