I didn't think the GTO movie was all that good, the anime and manga are WAY better.

I loved the anime but haven't read any of the manga. The 13 episode tv series though I thought was better than the anime in some ways. I have a um non official copy of the movie and would like to replace it.

BTW, I was so into the anime at one point that I got my ears pierced in the same way he has them. Stud, hoop, stud on the left. Stud and stud on the right. That is totally hardcore nerd.

Neat little surprise tonight, as my mother brought home the Lupin the Third: World's Most Wanted, Vol. 1 manga. Two Lupin things in one day, can't beat that.

Edit - And I just got Lupin the Third: Island of Assassins for $21 at Best Buy, along with an arcade legends plug 'n play with Qix. I can't cait to finally play that. I also got some Cold Stone ice cream. Simply amazing ice cream, and at $5, it better be.
