Lets be honest it is a pain in the ass to rip a DVD and compress it for the PSP. Not to mention it is anything but fast.

I just got done watching Armageddon (dam that movie gets me weeping like a bitch). Would I have watched it if I had to go through the trouble of ripping, converting and copying it to a mem card? No, but I can just grab the UMD on the way to the crapper and I am set.

I wouldn't recommend UMD movies to people on a budget, but as you know I have a bit more disposable income than most. Just another form of media to collect.

Anime UMDs here I come.

Well if it all works for you, more power to you. I just couldn't see myself trying to get into it.

...Thumb Wars? I've got a friend busting her ass at a shitty job to try to find a new home and get out of welfare, and you're buying fucking Thumb Wars on UMD just because you can. It's not like you'll ever watch it or even like it. You did it just to do it. But maybe those glossy, cold amaray cases are more rewarding than being a decent human being.

Anyways, on topic: I bought a few video games this month too and they're fun but they'll stop being fun at some point so I'll buy some more next month. And on and on, this country is golden.

I wish morphix would donate to a charity or sponsor some endangered species or something. Some of those shitty movies are $7.50 on DVD at target.

I got the new Harry Potter book, which is awesome, because I found twenty dollars in a pair of jeans that went through the laundry. Our house rule is whoever finds it, keeps it as far as laundry money goes. Win! Would've been a while, otherwise. Already ten chapters through and I'm enjoying it far more than the fifth.

I saw Thumb Wars on fox years ago, I thought it was pretty funny. I was looking forward to Thumbtanic but I did not know buying it dammed my soul.

I feel sorry for your friend, sell all your games and other stuff and help her out. That is what I did when my mom was in a similar situation 3 yrs ago.
