Like every other movie this summer, I'll wait for the DVD release. Fuck Hollywood.

I'm putting up the official thread early, becuase tonight I wil be seeing a private employee screening thanks to my sister job at the local Edwards cinema.
I will probably have my impressions for it by midnight tonight. I hope it's good

"Chuy, you're going to have a magical life. Because no matter where you go, it's always going to be better than Tucson."
If marvel were smart, they should make another multi-universe for the movie characters so they can at least exist as canon.
I'll see this when it hits buget cinema, hollywood don't need my money.![]()
"Your soul better belong to Jesus, mmm-mmmmm..... cause your ass belongs to me!"
I'm definitely checking it out friday.
Heard alot of mixed reviews but Howard and Robin from the Howard Stern show liked it.
LOL @ this movie.
Like one of the CvC guys said, "USA Up All Night Presents Fantastic Four".
I <3 Gilbert Godfrey

When I saw the very first trailer for this movie I thought it looked cool. But then relised I was actually more interested in the song that played in the trailer rather than the visuals it self. And now with each trailer I see for it, I want to see it less and less. It looks like Daredevil level at best, and that equals shitty garbage. I'll wait for the DVD, but I am sure when even that comes out I won't be rushing to rent it.
Barf! Barf! Barf!
If anything, I wish they'd have more references to the other super-heroes that are simultaneously co-existing in New York. Most of the flicks are done by different studios, but a little wink or nod to the other movies would be cool.Originally Posted by voltz
I want to see the first Marvel crossover movie. Hugh Jackman vs Tobey McGuire would totally rock.

Sorry i didin't post it earlier. I completely forgot.
ANyway the movie isn't that bad. It depends on how muc you like the FF.
I was never a big fan, so the butchering didn't piss me off. However I could hear people groaning in the theatre. Kinda sad.
Here is the bad.
Jessica Alba plays this role as well as Halle Berry played Catwoman. I'm serious. For some reason Alba can't play as a smart intelligent 23 yr. old scientist. She is pretty much T&A all movie long with her turning invisble and stuff
The Human torch came off as just plain MTv in this movie. Riding BMX,Telling really bad one liners. Hell they even play rock music whenever he came on screen.
The continuity across the movie was just bad. One scene this would happen and the next it was completely different. For example One scene has the The Thing not be able to get into elevators, 2 scenes later he is riding the elevator(which was a complete rip-off of Spider-man 2 they way it was shot)
Or when Sue Storm can't control her powers for one scene, and then next she is fully in control. It was just bad editing.
The Good
The Thing. His character was great. They showed him off as this lonely melanchoily guy after transforming and it really fit the character. Also his jokes didn't feel as campy as the torches.
The Ugly
The main villain was also a joke. I do't know why anyway thinks a guy from nip/tuck could pull off a pyschopath, but whatever. He was never intimidating across the whole movie, and to put it in simple terms Ra's Al Ghul no forget that Scarecrow could have kicked this guys' ass.
The CG in this was fucking terrible. Thank god the Thing wasn't CG, becuase the artsts on this movie just f'ed up. The space part was ugly and the fight scenes were never very flashy like X-Mens. The only good part was the human torch outrunning the missle.
Overall it was an average movie. Never really got off the ground though. If you ask me wait for PPV or DVD.
