Forget stupid lights or cameras. To even operate a car on a public road you need to have your personal information registered with the state you live in. Every car used on a public road must be registered with a state and show proof of such registration on the back bumper. To operate a car on a public road you need to posses car insurance, purchased from a private company.




Now, the fun part: explain how our public roads could operate in a safe and orderly manner without those three things.

Well the key thing about them, is they are PUBLIC. Liberty does not give you the right to fuck your neighbor over. And since you both pay for those roads and use them, someone has to make sure others don't encroach on your ability to use the road you pay for, and insure you do not encroach on others ability to use them.

That people love that Franklin quote and hold to it like it's the Law of God, but fail to realize that they do this very thing all the time.

I read a fascinating article in Time magazine today, an interview with a suicide bomber to be. He was this anonymous 20 year old, first became radicalized from Saddam's propaganda when the US was blocking off trade to Iraq. He talks about how he's disgusted by most Iraqi's for the way they support the infidels (infidels being the US and Iraqi forces in his region). He says he wishes US forces would have left after deposing Saddam so his people (al qaeda) could take back the region. He rambles about being a martyr, being assured a place in heaven and getting to save a spot there for 70 people of his choice as a martyr. The last thing he says is that when he gets to heaven, the first thing allah will ask is "how many infidels did you kill?"

These brainwashed religious fanatics want a GLOBAL ISLAMIC STATE, with no music or diversity or traces of western culture. That is their goal, not us out of Iraq, not oil, OUR EXTERMINATION. They're like the fucking Borg or the bugs in Starship Troopers, grow a pair in the name of all that is good and right in this world and stand up to evil. Well it's a weird situation really. It is like your dad went and spit in the face of a mob boss, and then he sent his boys to kill everyone in your family. Yeah, the mob boss was wrong, and should be sent to the chair for what he did, but your dad shouldn't have spit in the mob bosses face either.

We need to be doing a lot of killing AND changing our foreign policy so maybe a few people won't think we are spitting in their faces. At the very least, improved and more respectable foreign policy will make us look better, which will help us get more of the world on our side in the future

well initially I said what I said because I wanted to make the point that people fuck up but that doesn't mean everything they say and do is wrong, just that they fuck up. But that like went over your head because you're dumb and shit.

Eh subtle shit, I don't even really think we realize that we are doing it. Some of it has to do with the fact that the US isn't a team player. We come off as having an over inflated idea of importance. In most situations we really aren't that bad, it's just the rest of the world is full of jealous assholes.

Simply getting ourselves out of the limelight would help a lot. People always blame the head guy for all their problems.

Their main contention would be that we have troops in thier Holy Land, ie Saudi Arabia, and, as infidels, we should not be there.

Flying on an airplane is a priveledge, not a right. You can drive to where you are going. If it's oversea's then you can take a boat. You want convenience? You pay a little bit for it.
